I had the opportunity to interview Carrington Smith. Carrington played and started for the 2017-2018 New Castle basketball team. He averaged eleven points a game and was a big it factor on the three-point line. Carrington reflected his time at New Castle Senior High School.

Question: Are you ready to Graduate high school?

“Yes, I am very excited.”

Question: How does it feel to be a Senior?”

It is hard. There is a lot of things to do as a Senior.

Question: Where are you going to college, and what do you want to major?

“Either IUP (Indiana University of Pennsylvania) or Bethany College. I want to go to Sports Medicine.

Question: Who was a big inspiration/big part of your life and why?  

“Coach Blundo because he taught me to be a man and never give up.”

Question: What was a fun memory as a Senior?

“Winning the 2017-2018 WPIAL Championship”

Question: What teacher are you going to miss the most and why?

“Mr. Croach, he helped me with many things at New Castle.”
