Hurricane Harvey was a highly devastating hurricane that brought unprecedented amounts of rain to the state of Texas.  Harvey made landfall in the United States in Rockport, Texas at Category 4 intensity. The storm is considered the wettest hurricane in American history; bringing over 51 inches of rain in some areas. Harvey caused at least 70 deaths in the United States alone, and the estimated loss is totaled at around 70 billion.
