The Sadie Hawkins Dance is new and upcoming for the New Castle Jr./Sr. High School. This dance is scheduled to take place in January, at the beginning of the new year. Tickets for the dance have yet to be released, but are going to be priced around $15.00 each. For those who are unaware of what a Sadie Hawkins Dance is; it originated all from a comic strip, called “Lil’ Abner” written by Al Capp. This differs from other school dances because this time it is the girl’s responsibility to ask a certain, lucky guy to go with her. Sadie Hawkins is a rather informal event, where the girl and the guy she asked, match clothes. Although, it can seem a bit nerve-racking for the girls to ask a guy, overall it will be a fun filled night. We will update you on more details about the upcoming  dance, as more information becomes available from Mr. Mancino.
