It’s the spooky season Canes! Yes, while everyone loves a good chocolate bar or a gummy worm, did you check your candy before eating? Halloween can and should be fun, but at the end of the night when you trading and sorting out your candy, you should always check it. Here are some easy tips and safety hacks to use.
What to check for when checking Halloween candy?
- Discoloration to packaging
- Holes or rips in the wrapper that have been resealed
- Homemade treats that were provided by someone you don’t know
Try not to eat the candy until you get home and completely check it out. If you don’t check or aren’t aware, you could ingest something bad from the unaltered snack. That being said, it is always important to inspect every treat you get from Trick-Or-Treating!
Thanks for reading Canes! Have a safe Halloween!
