Peyton Rodgers is a Senior at New Castle High School. She is involved in the school musicals and I thought it would be a great idea to ask her a couple of questions about her participation in the musicals.

How long have you been in musicals?

I have been in musicals since 7th grade and a part of high school musicals since 9th grade.

What has your favorite role been?

So far, Ariel in The Little Mermaid. She was a lot of fun to play and the show as a whole was a great experience 

What have your favorite musicals been?

My favorite musical to be in was Grease simply because of the people. Its truly a cast and show I will never forget.

What do you want to do after High School?

I plan to attend the University of Pittsburgh for a degree in biochemistry

How is your senior year going so far?

Fast yet so slow. It’s very weird having to think of things as my last time doing them.

What advice would you give to underclassmen in theatre?

Work hard. Don’t expect roles to come to you, work for what you want. But also let it be fun and let the cast become your family.
