Light up night is a common tradition in New Castle and this year’s Light Up Night was a success.
The Light up Night took place in Downtown New Castle on November 18th at 5 p.m.
The theme of this year’s parade was “Snow Festival” for the 100th anniversary of the Warner Bros. Studio. The parade route was scheduled to go along West Washington and East Washington Street ending at East and West North Street.
The night was a hit with different vendors and entertainment. Including ice sculpting, a minute-to-win-it competition, speed painting, a concert, and a firework show. The parade was brought in by the New Castle band, following the band, was Santa Clause stopping at the Riverwalk to greet all his followers.
