Five Ways to Stay Fit During the Holidays

There are many ways to love and enjoy about the holiday season. Preparing and eating large meals and desserts, spending time with family and friends. The holiday season doesn’t have to be a vacation from having good health thought.

Here are five ways to stay fit during the holiday season.

  1.     Drink Plenty of Water.

It is vital to stay hydrated even in the winter months. Choosing water over juice and soda at holiday gatherings can reduce sugar intake and enhance weight management.

  1.     Make Time for Exercise

It is easy to neglect exercise during the holiday season. Daily exercise is critical for good health. Prioritizing physical activity and making time for exercise.

  1.     Shorten the Length of Workouts

Increase the frequency of the workouts but shorten the length. Instead of the usual 30 to 60-minute workouts, consider 10 to 20 minutes. Try high-intensity interval training, alternating maximum effort and short recovery.
