5+Dimensions+of+Self-Care

Self care is an important part of everyday life. Taking care of yourself is one of the most important parts of life. If you don’t take care of yourself, getting older will be a struggle. Take care of yourself. Here are the 5 dimensions of self-care. Let us know your tips and trick of self-care. 

PHYSICAL 

Involves fitness, dietary, and sleep habits. This includes how you manage stress, dental, and medical check ups. Move your body! 

INTELLECTUAL

Involves personal growth, learning and education, engaging in experiences, mindfulness, and mindset. Meditate and center yourself!

SOCIAL 

Involves having a supportive network of people you can turn to for support, guidance, or someone to talk to. Includes sense of belonging and acceptance. Join a group or a club!

SPIRITUAL 

Involves the beliefs and values which guide your life. Including practice which nourishes the soul, help you seek understanding, and explore the nature of life. Pray or listen to calming podcasts!

EMOTIONAL 

Involves awareness of feelings and emotions, shadow work, cultivating compassion, kindness, and love for yourself and others.
