Too Wear or Not to Wear?

One of the biggest complaints from the general world population, during the Covid 19 Pandemic, is having to wear some type of face covering or mask.

Pennsylvania’s Commonwealth Court stated on Tuesday, “it would lift a stay on its order voiding the state’s school mask mandate, but not until Dec. 4, when Gov. Tom Wolf’s administration could implement a new requirement.” It was said that Governor Wolf was going to change the mask mandate earlier, but now the date keeps getting pushed back.

It is rumored that Pennsylvania school districts will soon be allowed to change or stop the mask mandate for K-12 students in January, Gov. Tom Wolf announced Monday, saying it is “time to prepare for a transition back to a more normal setting.”

Wolf had previously said masking was something local school officials should decide but reversed course in late summer. He said the universal, statewide order was warranted after most of the state’s 500 districts did not impose their mask requirement for schools. But not all districts are immediately planning to remove mask requirements.

Many districts are continuing to stay safe as they continue in-person learning, but there is no guarantee about much when it comes to the Covid 19 Pandemic, which is still taking priority in many people’s daily life.

Stay safe Canes!
