The New Castle 22-23 Yearbook is now in production! Miss Genareo and her staff are already hard at work making this year’s production one of the best yet. I had the opportunity to sit down with Miss G and discuss how the production is starting out and what her hopes are for the future.

Q: How is the yearbook staff doing this year?

AG: “I am excited to be working with a larger staff than last year. We have a talented group with unique skill sets so I’m excited to see that implemented in this year’s book.”

Q: What are you looking forward to with this year’s production?

AG: “I am looking forward to an increase in sales. We gained a lot of momentum over the last two years and I want to keep the program moving forward in a positive direction.”

Q: Do you wish to top last year’s production?

AG: “We’re always looking to get better every single year. The goal is to learn more about the content, polish our skills, and publish a production that students are excited about purchasing.”

Q: Do you think there will be any challenges this year?

AG: “I think the challenge we are facing the most right now is fitting all of the positive things that happened throughout the year into a limited space. Due to rising costs and a smaller book, utilizing the space that we have is very important.”

Q: What is one thing that is different from last year’s staff and production, that you know you will succeed in this year’s book?

AG: “I would like to get more business ads this year. It is an easy way for our program to benefit financially to get the supplies we need since we make no profit off the yearbook ourselves.”
