The Confluence is a coffee shop and is located at 214 East Washington Street, New Castle, PA. It is a social enterprise of Cray Youth and Family Services. This means every dollar you spend there stays in the community and it helps fund the children’s programming of Cray. This program helps improve the lives of children by helping at-risk kids become productive members of the community. The Confluence serves many kinds of coffee and food. They are open from 7 AM-2 PM on Monday-Wednesday and 7 AM-9 PM. They serve sandwiches, wraps, hot drinks, cold drinks, and salads.

The Confluence hosts live music each Thursday from 6-8 PM this includes acoustic open mics and is followed by featured musician(s) It can also feature poets, magicians, and talent shows. The confluence also has a rotating art gallery and is curated by Hoyt Center for the arts. The art is rotated 5 times throughout the year and all the paintings are made by local artists in a variety of genres and styles. They will be hosting a karaoke night on October 22. It will also have a costume contest, trivia, games, and prizes.

 They also have a Kids Corner if you need to relax while you drink your coffee and they will be offering a story time at 4:30 pm on the last Tuesday of every month; The kids will be read 2-3 stories, and a make-and-take craft, also they will receive a small treat. The Confluence also has a Reading Room and a Lending library managed by the New Castle Public Library. The lending library lets you read a book while there, take the book home, or donate a book; This is all free of charge they just hope to get the most miles out of one book.
