How to Prevent Getting Sick

Cold and flu season is back and it is important that you do everything you can to prevent sickness. One of the most important things you can do is wash your hands. By washing your hands, you are cleaning your hands of germs, which will stop you from getting sick. By washing your hands, you are also preventing others from getting sick as you are not spreading your germs. Another great way to prevent getting sick is to be cautious of who you are around. If you notice someone who is coughing and sneezing without covering their mouth, stay away. Their germs can get you sick if you continue to stay close to them.

With the weather changing, the cold brisk air, and the wet, damp rain…Winter season is a prominent time to get sick. Be sure to take care of yourself. Be sure to up your vitamin intake too, especially vitamin C! Make sure your body gets the antioxidants it needs to fight off infections and sickness.

By simply washing your hands and avoiding germs as much as possible, you are keeping yourself and others safe from sickness. This will help you get through cold and flu season safely.
