I recently have been on a trip to Florida for baseball. It was an amazing experience and the events leading up to it were amazing. I was offered a spot on a couple of teams in the tournament and had to decline due to our schools homecoming dance on Saturday. Team Ohio Pro Select was sympathetic and understood how important it was to me. They allowed me to fly back on Friday night so I could get exposure to coaches, and I could still be a kid in the process. I pitched very well in Florida and it was a huge jump in my recruiting process! Finally, it sparked my willingness to work harder than ever to reach my goals of playing at a professional level.

The competition was like no other. All of the top 17u players in the nation battling for exposure, offers, and a championship. There were big arms, powerful bats and speedy runners involved in every pitch. Competing against these great players also showed me that I was not as good as I thought I was, and that I need to work harder every day to become the best I can be.   I truly believe that one must believe in hard work and prepartion, without a  doubt, remember,  “You Decide Your Fate”.
