Gerrit Cole, if not the best one of the best pitchers in Major League Baseball. Indeed, Cole had a great season as an Astro last year but was a free agent in the offseason. His awesome play made many teams interested which also made the money package go up. The final three teams who wanted to obtain him were the Yankees, Dodgers, and the Astros. But the Yankees were able to sign him ten-year contract. The largest deal ever for a pitcher at 36 MILLION per season for ten years!!!!! Many baseball enthusiasts are not sure if he is worth it? I think yes. But we will find out as we enter the 2020 season.
